Autumn Equinox Ceremony
Meeting the Spirit Guide of our Hearts
The Seasons Are Turning
The autumn equinox is celebrated around the world as a moment of balance, when light and dark, day and night stand in near perfect equilibrium. It is one of the eight seasonal turning points of the year—a natural threshold that invites us to pause before crossing into the softer rhythms of autumn.
As summer begins to fade, nature gradually turns inward. The energy of growth and outward expression gives way to a quieter season of gathering, reflection, and restoration. This turning of the seasons offers us an opportunity to do the same: to celebrate what has come to fruition, honor what we are harvesting, and consciously choose what we will carry into the months ahead.
The Gathering
Our Autumn Equinox Circle is an invitation to gather ourselves back from all the places our energy has been scattered—to call home the pieces of ourselves that have been given to the outward energy of summer: to adventures and celebrations, to work and responsibilities, to relationships and community, to tending our homes and gardens, and to all that has called us outward.Together, we’ll create space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the wisdom that lives within.
As we turn inward, we are invited to listen more deeply to the quiet voice of our own heart. Beneath the noise of daily life is a steady presence that remembers who we are and the path we are here to walk. Whether you connect with spirit guides, ancestors, nature, your intuition, or simply the quiet wisdom within, this season offers an opportunity to receive perspective, healing, and guidance for the months ahead.
Through guided meditation, meaningful ritual, creativity, journaling, Shamanic Journey, and heartfelt connection, we’ll honor this seasonal threshold together. You’ll leave feeling more grounded, centered, and connected—to yourself, to the rhythms of nature, and to the intentions you wish to carry into the season ahead.
Join Shannon Hopkins and Erica Skone-Rees for this intimate, in-person community ceremony as we gather to celebrate the harvest, honor the turning of the season, and call ourselves back home.
Shamanic Journey to the Spirit Guides of our hearts:
Shamanic journeying uses the steady rhythm of the drum to enter a meditative, imaginal space where we can hear our inner wisdom and reconnect with the magic of life.
In a drumming journey, we will journey to meet a spirit guide of our heart. A guide to reconnect us with our truest self. Our intention is to learn what part of ourselves is calling to be gathered home, and learn the wisdom our heart wishes us to remember.

An Invitation to Join Us
The season shows us that Mother Nature is letting go of her leaves, acorns, and fruits. So we too are releasing what no longer serves us. The animals are gathering their stores for winter, as we will gather what we need so we may find our center.
At our ceremony we will learn techniques to call in our energy and build our reserves. We will practice resourcing ourselves just as our ancestors did before the cold season.
Come sit in circle. Honor the turning of the season, and the harvest. Let’s lean into Autumn with intention, together.
